There are lots of things to do during your stay. 

The village has a 9 hole golf course, tennis courts and a fantastic play park for the wee ones. You can fish the Liddel & Esk and the cycle the 7stanes mountain bike trails, they start/finish from your front door!

Activities

Rock UK Activity Centre5 mins from the house, packed full of fun, thrills and spills for all the family; kayaking, abseiling, zip-wire, swimming, mountain biking, high ropes, canoeing, archery and much more. Discounts available for our guests but all activities must be booked in advance of your stay. Details when you book; 4 people £48 for 1 activity/£80 for 2.  Zip Wire £7.50pp for 2 runs!

7Stanes mountain bike trails and skills and pump track – also 5 minutes from the house.  Bring your bikes or you can hire from Rock BUT be warned, this is very popular so bikes need to be booked in advance of your stay to secure them.

Tea at Bessiestown – this is a delight, starve before you go.  Feedback from our guests and personal experience is “better than the Ritz”.  This is a must book as all is prepared to order.

Kielder Dark Skies – a must do to experience while you are here.  Cold crispy nights are best, perfect for winter weekend
